JOB DESCRIPTION

Chef de Partie

The Royal Melbourne Golf Club, ranked amongst the best in the world and host to numerous national and international events is actively seeking a full-time (including weekend shifts) Chef de Partie willing to take the next challenge.
 

This is a great opportunity to step up into a challenging role; develop your premium skills and be exposed to our great culture. You must be highly motivated and focused, with excellent attention to detail and have the ability to remain calm under pressure.

About the Role:

  • Relevant qualifications in commercial cookery
  • A strong focus on consistently delivering excellent food standards
  • Display creativity and passion for food
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Always cooperative, courteous and an excellent team contributor.
  • Ability to use initiative with highly developed organisational and time management skills
  • Cert IV in Cookery
  • Current Food Handlers Certificate required
  • Demonstrated understanding of food safety and WH&S principles
  • Self motivation, a ‘can do’ attitude and reliable

As the successful candidate you will have at least 2 years’ experience working in a prestigious or premium restaurant. You will be a positive, confident person with a passion for delivering excellent customer service and exceeding expectations for members and guests and the ability to work in a team environment.

Chef de Partie
Commis Chef

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2 years' experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Cert IV in Cookery
  • Current Food Handlers Certificate required


Interview required

Induction/onboarding required prior to starting role
